The participation of FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) in this consortium will place Brazilian astronomers at the forefront of international astronomical and astrophysical research.
The office in Brazil (GMTBrO - GMT Brazil Office) is led by IAG/USP - Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences, coordinated by Professors Laerte Sodre Junior and Claudia Mendes de Oliveira.
We also have valuable national partners, among them: UNIVAP - University of Paraíba Valley, IMT - Mauá Institute of Technology and Polytechnic School at the University of São Paulo (Poli-USP).
